Callblock 1.2
Caller-ID or block 3,000,000+ telemarketers automatically in iOS

Apple will be releasing iOS 10.3 any day now and we’re doing likewise today with an updated version of Callblock, the first iOS app that stops telemarketing phone calls. You can install Callblock from the App Store if you haven’t yet or, if you already have, to update:
- press the Home button on your iPhone,
- tap App Store > Updates, then
- (beside the Callblock listing) tap the Update button.
Here’s what’s new in this version.
3,000,000+ telemarketers
Callblock has had what we believe to be the world’s biggest directory of telemarketers, but we’ve been adding an average of over 10,000 more telemarketers daily thanks to thousands of reports from our users. Altogether, the app now has over 3,000,000 classified telemarketers from over 100 countries.
Updated UI and UX
We’ve evolved Callblock’s user interface and experience away from those of our sister app, Adblock Fast. ☝👇
Improved VoiceOver support
The interface is composed of custom views, whose default accessibility info turned out to be unhelpful. We’ve extended our views with custom info and beta-tested the spoken output successfully with VoiceOver power users.
Faster installs
Callblock is preloaded with a partial but large directory snapshot so lots of telemarketers can be screened right after you install. We’ve nonetheless been able to reduce the total app size, by 63 percent, to reduce the install time.
Compatibility with Adblock Fast
Toggling Callblock’s blocking on or off was toggling Adblock Fast’s on or off and vice versa. This bug is fixed.

Callblock 1.2 is available in the App Store today. Follow and message us with your questions or comments on Facebook, on Instagram, or on Twitter and register for app updates to find out about our upcoming releases.
